The World-Famous Misplaced Priorities are celebrating the fourth decade of their “Around the Block Tour,” which started at the La Canada High School Carnival and has taken them up and down the 210 corridor and beyond.

The mission of this band is to raise money for local schools, charitable organizations, and worthy causes. They have traveled as far as their extension cords and spouses will allow them to raise over 1.25 million dollars with an auction item called “Taco & Tunes.” It combines live music with a party for 30 that includes a taco cart and margaritas provided by their friends at Los Gringos,. We can only offer 12 yearly because the party is in such demand. Look for us in a backyard near you!

Their taste in music is eclectic. They play songs from 1960 to 2023, including Classic Rock, Folk, Pop, Latin, Country, Blues, and Jazz, offering something for everybody to dance to.

The band members include Frank Dvoracek on accordion, Tom Reynolds on rhythm guitar, Joe Culp and Leo Perez on Base, Jay Stolmax on Sax, Jim Simons on percussion., Mandy Boesche and Jeanne Norton are vocalists, Steve Stathatos is the lead Guitarist, and Barry McGuire is the drummer.
